Iain was trained as a piano tuner at one of the leading piano establishments in the north of England. He later became a member of the Pianoforte Tuners Association.
The piano tuning clients range from those with pianos in private homes to major concert artists and corporate establishments.
Through his varied contracts with York University, Harrogate Festival, Bradford Theatres, Ilkley Concert Club and others, Iain regularly tunes for professional events ranging from solo piano, chamber and orchestral concerts to popular music events and jazz. In addition he also takes responsibility for the pianos of many music societies and festivals in Yorkshire.
A visit for piano tuning may also include minor repairs or regulation and voicing.

Get in touch with Bradley
Bradley has been helping his father with pianos from a young age, whether it be assisting with piano deliveries or learning to restore a pianos in the workshop, Bradley has always been surrounded by pianos.
In 2006 Bradley decided he would follow his father into the profession and started learning to tune pianos under Iain's instruction. Over the years he has refined his craft to become a well rounded technician with lots of experience with all kinds of pianos and restoration projects.
